The 2022 Women's Council programming continues with the theme of “2022 & You — Women & Business”.
The second program of the year will be held on Monday, May 23 at noon at the Chamber. The topic, presented by President and CEO of Peak Performance Denise Rice, will be “Building Credibility with Trust and Respect—How to Strengthen It, How to Restore It.” "A large percentage of employees do not trust management, and without trust, employees feel a sense of uncertainty, insecurity and worry that creates a barrier to effective performance," organizers said.
"The event will look at the relationship between trust, respect and credibility and how valuable it is to establish these in the workplace. Learn about tools for restoring broken trust, honoring commitments and building a trust-driven work environment."
Before becoming president & CEO of Peak Performance, a workforce training and consulting company, Ms. Rice was an operational executive with a career spanning more than 25 years with Corning, Inc., holding positions including the director of worldwide manufacturing effectiveness and plant manager. She received her B.S. in electrical engineering from Syracuse University, a certificate from the Executive Development Institute at Vanderbilt University and a Certificate of Entrepreneurialship through the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program.
Individual tickets are $20 to attend in person, which includes lunch. Tickets can be purchased via the Community Calendar on ClevelandChamber.com or by calling the Chamber office. Chamber members who wish to use admission credits should call the Chamber office to register at 423-472-6587.
